James Brown

James Brown, 25, is a social design entrepreneur, focussed on creating and adapting products and business models to make a positive social difference.  In 2007 James co-founded Red Button Design with the aim of designing, manufacturing and distributing products for emerging markets.  Red Button Design has received several awards that recognise a combination of design innovation and entrepreneurial excellence.

James is a recent Masters graduate of the highly respected Product Design Engineering programme run jointly between the Glasgow School of Art and Glasgow University.

In 2008 James was invited to become a fellow of the RSA and a member of Courvoisier’s The Future 500.
